Reuters reports the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice are actively probing TikTok and its alleged children's privacy issues and failure to comply with a 2019 consent decree. Two people have publicly acknowledged they've been interviewed by the agencies regarding their investigation. "I got the sense from our conversation that they are looking into the assertions that we raised in our complaint," Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood Campaign Manager David Monahan said of his interviews.
