The U.S. Federal Trade Commission released the agenda for its upcoming data portability workshop Sept. 22 in Washington. Panel discussions will be held on data portability initiatives stemming from privacy laws, portability in the health and financial sectors, and the benefits and risks of employing portability. Panelists include Alston & Bird Senior Counsel Peter Swire, CIPP/US, World Privacy Forum Executive Director Pam Dixon and Future of Privacy Forum Senior Counsel Gabriela Zanfir-Fortuna.
