The Future of Privacy Forum and Vrije Universiteit Brussel held a roundtable discussion on challenges in banking and data protection law. Twenty professionals in the space discussed consent, use and sharing of personal data, and interoperability. The groups will hold another round of discussions in the fall. An FPF blog post states, “The next question is: to what extent can insightful use cases from other parts of the world serve as an inspiration to European banks, regulators, and watchdog groups?”
