A recent study conducted by the Future of Privacy Forum shows more than 259 European-based companies are participating in the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield program. The EU involvement is up 30% from last year, while the program has added more than 1,000 EU and U.S. participants overall during that same span. The study also concluded that approximately 33% of Privacy Shield participants use the cross-border transfer mechanism to process human resources data.
