The Future of Privacy Forum announced the winners of its ninth annual Privacy Papers for Policymakers Award. A group of academics, advocates and privacy professionals from FPF’s Advisory Board selected the five winners of this year’s contest. The winners included a paper on sexual privacy harms faced by women, non-whites and sexual minorities by University of Maryland Carey School of Law Professor Danielle Keats Citron and an analysis of local privacy regulations aimed to fill gaps in federal and state privacy laws related to surveillance by New York University School of Law Adjunct Professor Ira Rubinstein.
