During an interview on CBS's "60 Minutes," former U.S. National Security Adviser Matthew Pottinger discussed China's recent moves on privacy and data security. Pottinger said China's Personal Information Protection Law is less about protecting individuals' personal data but more the National People's Congress of China seeking access and control over it.
