Former U.S. Federal Communications Commission Commissioner and Chair Mignon Clyburn will join the new National Security Commission on Artificial Intelligence, Multichannel reports. Created by the National Defense Authorization Act, the AI commission is tasked with “reviewing the impact on national security on advances in AI, artificial learning and related fields” and is expected to produce a report to the White House by August.
