  • The Florida House passed House Bill 9 on a 103-8 vote. The bill advanced to the Senate where it's been referred to the Judiciary Committee. HB 9 retained its tiered private right of action through the House vote. The legislative session closes March 11.   • The Washington House Appropriations Committee voted 17-16 for favorable recommendation on House Bill 1850, the Washington Foundational Privacy Act. The committee adopted a substitute bill that ties HB 1850 closer to Senate Bill 5062, the Washington Privacy Act. HB 1850 has been assigned to the House Rules Committee.
