The Council of the European Union announced it will resume work on the proposed ePrivacy Regulation July 4. Ahead of the meeting, the Finnish presidency has asked member states to offer feedback on which parts of the regulation they feel are the most essential and which parts are the most problematic, as well as whether there are any parts of the text that should be removed. Member states can also list any changes needed to better align the proposed bill with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the next steps that need to be taken to continue negotiations within the council.
