The Supreme Administrative Court in Finland ruled on a right-to-be-forgotten case involving a man convicted of murder, Yle.fi reports. The court determined the man had the right to privacy, as he was sentenced for a "diminished responsibility murder" where he was not fully liable for the crime due to impaired mental functions. In its ruling, the court determined the man's mental condition was sensitive information and should be kept private, upholding a decision from Finland's data protection authority and Administrative Court. Google opposed the decision, saying removing the results from search engines violated freedom of speech. Meanwhile, the European Court of Human Rights upheld Germany's decision to deny two right-to-be-forgotten requests.
