Finland’s Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman announced the Helsinki-based Psychotherapy Center Vastamo must notify clients whose personal data was exposed in a data breach immediately. The office said subjects must be notified “in person” and clearly describe the breach and its likely impact, as well as steps taken afterward. The National Bureau of Investigation is looking into the breach, which may have compromised the sensitive information of thousands of clients.
