Government Technology reports the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas brought a temporary injunction against the Arkansas Social Media Safety Act prior to its 1 Sept. effective date. The law was passed by the state legislature and signed by the governor in April. Notable provisions include age verification and parental consent for use by minors under age 18.
