Reaction to the massive leak of personal information from Ashley Madison continues, Kashmir Hill reports for Fusion. Several websites have emerged that allow users to sift through the data, including a site in which a user can plug in an email address to see if it is affiliated with Ashley Madison. In the first 24 hours, https://ashley.cynic.al/ received more than 300,000 visits with more than one million searches. Hill writes, “The ease of checking the Ashley Madison database for a match raises a much tougher ethical question: Even if you can check to see who was using Ashley Madison, should you?” Business Insider shares an interview it conducted with the CEO of Avid Life Media, the parent company of Ashley Madison, before the hack.
