Facebook has restructured its security teams over the last two years, The New York Times reports. Three anonymous current and former employees said the changes displaced more than two dozen employees in Facebook’s detection-engineering and alert-response teams whose duties included anticipating cyberattacks and preventing breaches by hackers. The employees were in London, Seattle and Menlo Park, California. A Facebook spokeswoman said it is “investing more in automated detection and bringing in new skills.”
