CNET reports Facebook disabled 66 profiles and pages connected to Social Data Hub, a company that claimed to sell user data scraped off the platform. While Facebook is investigating the company and what data it had access to, it expects to find and remove more content captured by the company. In an emailed statement from Social Data Hub, CEO Artur Khachuyan wrote that the company did not scrape data outside of Russia and added, "In Russia, such work is permitted by federal law No. 152 (this is analogous to the GDPR)."
