The New York Times reports Facebook Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg is expected to be added as a respondent in a privacy lawsuit by the attorney general for the District of Columbia. The suit, filed in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia in December 2018, alleges Facebook misled consumers about the platform’s privacy related to the Cambridge Analytica scandal. Attorney General Karl Racine alleges Zuckerberg played an active role in decisions regarding Cambridge Analytica, while a spokesman said the allegations are “meritless.”
