In a post for Facebook's Privacy Matters series, Vice President of Public Policy and Chief Privacy Officer for Policy Erin Egan announced the social network published a white paper focused on people-driven privacy designs and making privacy information more comprehensible. Egan said the paper aims to "identify some common challenges and complexities" in simplifying the delivery of privacy information by proposing "some promising paths forward," including privacy by design and policy co-creation.
