Belgium's Data Protection Authority and Facebook presented arguments before the Court of Justice of the European Union over whether the agency has enforcement authority over the tech company, Reuters reports. Facebook argued in favor of the one-stop shop mechanism under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, while a representative from the Belgian DPA said, "(the) GDPR does not say anywhere that the lead authority has exclusive competence and that the non lead authority may not go to court."
