Following the Cambridge Analytica revelations, Facebook announced it has suspended AggregateIQ from its platform as it conducts its investigation into the data analytics firm, CNET reports. On its website, AggregateIQ claims it has never had access to any leaked user profiles and has no connection to Cambridge Analytica. Facebook also suspended CubeYou after it determined the data analytics company operated similarly to Cambridge Analytica by collecting user information through its online quizzes. The social media network is beginning to notify users who have been affected by the Cambridge Analytica incident, while Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., said the privacy issues are too big for Facebook to fix ahead of CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s testimony on Capitol Hill. European Data Protection Supervisor Giovanni Buttarelli said he hopes any measures Facebook implements are done in "practice and not only on paper."
