The European Commission plans to open its digital compliance oversight office in San Francisco, California, Sept. 1, The Wall Street Journal reports. European Commission Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology Gerard de Graaf will lead the new office, which aims to help Big Tech companies implement and comply with the EU Digital Markets Act and the Digital Services Act. "There’s a mutual interest in cooperating very closely," de Graaf said.
