The European Commission described the proposal as a means to "streamline cooperation" among regulators and "harmonise some aspects of the administrative procedure the national data protection authorities apply in cross-border cases." Meanwhile, the European Data Protection Board published a report outlining "a selection of examples of final One-Stop-Shop decisions" taken under Articles 17 and 21 of the GDPR.
