Uncertainty currently surrounds two major tools allowing businesses to move data between the EU and the U.S., The Wall Street Journal reports. The Irish Supreme Court has recently agreed to hear an appeal by Facebook in its case concerning the legality of standard contractual clauses, while the state of the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield agreement is also up for review this fall.
