The European Commission has given Meta and Snap a 1 Dec. deadline to provide information on how they protect children from harmful content, Reuters reports. The deadline is similar to the one given to Alphabet's YouTube and TikTok. The actions come after the passage of the Digital Services Act which requires major technology companies to do more to combat illegal and harmful content.
