Credit reporting bureau Equifax is facing a federal class-action lawsuit after a “technical glitch” allegedly affected millions of credit scores, NBC News reports. The lawsuit allows anyone who had their credit score adversely changed between March 6 and April 6 to seek damages. Equifax reportedly was in the process of shifting to a new technology system when the glitch occurred. The company stated on its website that approximately 300,000 people had their credit scores change by 25 points or more.
