Enveil, a business-to-business encryption startup, announced it raised $25 million in seed funding, TechCrunch reports. Enveil is being developed by insurance and financial company USAA, with Mastercard, Capital One Ventures, C5 Capital, DataTribe, the CIA’s strategic investment arm In-Q-Tel, Cyber Mentor Fund, Bloomberg Beta, GC&H and 1843 Capital. Enveil’s goal would be to build a new array of data products that utilize homomorphic encryption and secure multiparty computation to deliver data privacy for organizations.
