Elisebeth Collins departed from the U.S. Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board Dec. 15, Wall Street Journal Reporter Dustin Volz reports. Collins is the final member of the original board to leave the group. Collins supported the adoption of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act and Section 215 of the Patriot Act during her tenure on the PCLOB. “We extend our enduring gratitude to our colleague Elisebeth Collins for her many years of service to the board,” the PCLOB said in a statement. “Board Member Collins is the longest-serving member in the board’s history and has left an indelible imprint on the board’s work and institutional development.”
