The Electronic Frontier Foundation launched its second evaluation of privacy practices used by internet service providers in Peru. Carried out in collaboration with Peruvian digital rights organization Hiperderecho, the report found that while there is progress among ISPs, there is also room for improvement, particularly in regard to user notification and ISPs’ public commitment to privacy. Looking at privacy policies, warrant requirements, user notification policies, transparency and commitment to privacy, the report ranks the six Peruvian telecommunications companies.
