- U.K. Information Commissioner's Office Senior Policy Officer Alister Pearson introduced the beta version of the ICO's AI and Data Protection Risk Toolkit, which aims to outline risks to individuals' information rights in artificial intelligence processing activities.
- The U.K. Information Commissioner's Office wrote a blog post updating its Accountability Framework. The ICO said stakeholder feedback since the framework's release "guided our thinking on how you can build data protection into your organisation’s culture." The next step for the framework's development will be to add case studies demonstrating innovative accountability practices.
- Italy’s data protection authority, the Garante, issued an opinion in support of the Ministry of Justice’s enhanced safeguards for judicial data.
