The European Data Protection Board released the second version of its guidelines on "processing personal data in the context of connected vehicles and mobility related applications." The guidelines offer general recommendations on data minimization, data subject rights, transmitting data to third parties and countries outside the European Union, and the use of in-vehicle Wi-Fi technologies. The EDPB also published the second version of its guidelines on "relevant and reasoned objection under" the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
