The European Data Protection Board released an information note on the actions required of those organizations seeking to maintain the use of binding corporate rules as a data transfer mechanism following the U.K.'s Brexit transition period. The note states BCR and prospective holders bound to the U.K. supervisory authority must arrange for a new EU-based authority. The EDPB added that its guidance "is without prejudice" to its ongoing analysis of the recent "Schrems II" ruling.
