During its latest plenary session, the European Data Protection Board adopted guidelines on codes of conduct to be used as a tool for facilitating data transfers. The guidelines offer clarification for the application of Articles 40(3) and 46(2)(e) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Additionally, the EDPB adopted a final version of its guidelines on virtual voice assistants and on the concept of controllers and processors. The board also discontinued its TikTok task force.
