In its 40th plenary session, the European Data Protection Board adopted final guidelines for data protection by design and default. The guidance focuses on obligations under Article 25 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation while also addressing the effective implementation of Article 5 principles. Additionally, the EDPB moved to create a Coordinated Enforcement Framework with the aim of facilitating "joint actions in a flexible and coordinated manner" for supervisory authorities.
