EU Internal Market Commissioner Thierry Breton has announced the European Commission plans to present a reworked version of the ePrivacy Regulation under the Croatian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, EURACTIV reports. "We’ll have to put a new proposal on the table because I definitely think that everybody wants to do something, but obviously you are not in agreement," Breton said. While the latest ePrivacy failed to gain traction, Breton noted that a new proposal would not begin "from scratch." Breton added that ePrivacy is a priority and there's "an urgent need to move forward."
