An 18 billion euro class-action lawsuit has been filed in the High Court of London against easyJet over its January data breach involving 9 million customers, ZDNet reports. The suit, filed by law firm PGMBM, claims the airline's lack of data protection violates the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Noting the sensitive details involved in the breach, PGMBM stated, "In particular, the exposure of details of individuals' personal travel patterns may pose security risks to individuals and is a gross invasion of privacy."
