The Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, plans to continue the education campaign around the EU General Data Protection Regulation it launched in May, Telecompaper reports. The campaign started by asking organizations “What does the privacy law mean for your company?” The DPA’s follow-up to its initial campaign will include more information and tools. As the first portion of the campaign covered customer rights, the next phase of the plan will tackle principles for processing personal data and the processing of employee information, including those who have an illness.
