In an interview with SiliconAngle, Code42 Software Cofounder and CEO Matthew Dornquast said increasing bring-your-own-device demands in the workplace are fueling the need for hybrid cloud solutions for improved data management and security. IT security personnel face the challenge of, for example, unapproved consumer apps being introduced into a company’s network. A hybrid cloud can provide a space for both consumer and business needs. Plus, Dornquast predicts that by 2017 as many as half of large organizations will employ hybrid cloud solutions. He added, “Privacy concerns regarding public cloud data will only intensify in 2015 as more high-profile breaches are made public, which will ultimately drive increased private and hybrid cloud adoption.”
