Irish Data Protection Commissioner Helen Dixon said transborder data flows could be disrupted as a result of the Court of Justice of the European Union's "Schrems II" ruling, Reuters reports. Dixon added the level of impact could be assuaged by successful negotiations between the EU and U.S., which remain at a "very early stage." The Wall Street Journal reports Dixon's office could make draft decisions in half a dozen privacy cases involving techology companies in 2021. The DPC also published its annual report for 2020.
