Businesses and data protection authorities are facing challenges from a complex digital and legal ecosystem with a limited set of resources. That notion was clear during a panel presentation during the final day of the 41st Annual International Conference on Data Protection and Privacy Commissioners in Tirana, Albania. IAPP Editorial Director Jedidiah Bracy, CIPP, was on hand to hear insight from privacy officers and regulators during a panel moderated by IAPP CEO & President J. Trevor Hughes, CIPP, which included Microsoft's Julie Brill, LinkedIn's Kalinda Raina, CIPP/US, Simon McDougall of the U.K. Information Commissioner's Office, Hong Kong Privacy Commissioner Stephen Kai-yi Wong and Alexandra Jaspar-Leeuw of the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
