Lynn Parker Dupree, CIPP/G, CIPP/US, has been appointed chief privacy officer and chief Freedom of Information Act officer at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, according to Homeland Security Today. Dupree has a background in U.S. government privacy, having served in a variety of roles for the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board from 2014 to 2020. Most recently, Dupree was serving as director of governance and controls for Capital One's Data Ethics and Privacy Office.
