A new tool allows users to discover all of the online services they have signed up for, with the goal of helping them delete their online presence, CBC News reports. Deseat.me works by asking users to log in with a Google account, and asks to view email addresses to examine messages and settings. In an interview with The Telegraph, the creators of Deseat.me said they address user privacy by ensuring the program runs on the user’s computer, rather than on its own systems. The creators also said the company does not store any user data.
