Denmark's data protection authority, Datatilsynet, published the details of an enforcement sweep covering the data breach handling of municipalities and banks. The regulator carried out 16 inspections and sought to ensure EU General Data Protection Regulation rules for data breach reporting was being followed. While mostly compliant, two inspections raised concerns regarding documentation by respective entities of all verified breaches.
