The Guardian reports U.K. Information Commissioner Elizabeth Denham detailed her office's efforts to investigate Facebook's Cambridge Analytica scandal. Appearing on Member of U.K. Parliament Damian Collins' podcast, Denham revealed the ICO's investigation found evidence that Cambridge Analytica was planning to move its operations to the Caribbean or "outside of any kind of scrutiny of a regulator." On that note, Denham urged governments around the world to "look at this problem internationally," while calling on U.S. President-elect Joe Biden to draft federal privacy legislation in 2021.
