Denham comments on post-Brexit data flows

U.K. Information Commissioner Elizabeth Denham wrote a blog post addressing the interim data flow provisions outlined in the EU-U.K. Brexit agreement. Denham said the six-month grace period to carve out an adequacy agreement on data flows is  "an important safety net" and "was the best possible outcome for UK organisations." Denham added the provisions "bake-in the importance of high standards of data protection and international data flows for (U.K.) citizens and for the (U.K.) economy."
