Delta Air Lines has filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against the chatbot provider it believes is responsible for its 2017 data breach, The Wall Street Journal reports. Delta alleges [24]7.ai did not have the proper cybersecurity measures in place as it ran the AI-powered services on the airline company’s website in 2017 and 2018. Delta also accused [24]7 of waiting more than five months to inform the airline of the breach. The suit states Delta seeks reimbursement from the AI company for all costs related to the incident.
