Professional services network Deloitte published its "Australian Privacy Index 2020" report, which this year focuses on user consent. Deloitte's study found that the consent practices of Australian retailers and government ranked as the best with handling consent, while the finance and health and fitness sectors were ranked lowest. The methodology for the research was based on analysis of websites and apps, feedback from more than 1,000 Australian consumers, and data from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
