Companies looking to bridge the tension between consumers lamenting the loss of their privacy and yet still feeling comfortable with exchanging data for services should embrace transparency, AdExchanger reports. Automatic Labs’ Buckley Slender-White recalls how the agency’s founder grounded their privacy principles in simplistic values, such as being straightforward. “The data is yours,” Slender-White said. “If there is anything we want to do with that data, we ask you first.” The choice to be transparent is “an opportunity, not a burden,” he said.
