Data-sharing platform Data Republic has secured $22 million in Series B funding and revealed ambitions to create a secure-by-design digital infrastructure that could facilitate a bilateral market between Australia and Singapore, the Financial Review reports. Investors include the venture capital fund of Singtel Group and Singapore Airlines, as well as Qantas and three of Australia’s big banks. Data Republic Co-Founder Paul McCarney said, "The challenge is as data becomes more open it becomes more shared, and that then requires governance and technology.
