U.S.-based financial organization Flagstar Bank said the personal data of up to 1.5 million customers was exposed following “unauthorized access” to its network in early December 2021, ZDNet reports. The company said it “promptly took steps to secure its environment and investigate the incident with the assistance of third-party forensic experts,” adding it does not believe the data has been leaked, sold or misused.
