- Denmark's data protection authority, Datatilsynet, announced it reported the Danish Immigration Service to law enforcement and recommended a DKK 150,000 fine for noncompliance with data security principles under the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
- According to The Sun, Nigeria's National Information Technology Development Agency fined lender Soko Lending N10 million over alleged privacy violations, including unauthorized disclosures of data, insufficient protection over customers’ data and defamation.
