Following an opinion from the European Data Protection Council, the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet, has adopted a standard template to comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation’s rules on data-processing agreements. While organizations are not required to use this standard, the DPA stated “there is a significant advantage to the use of the Danish Data Protection Agency’s standard contract provisions, which consists in the security that lies in the legally binding status of the agreement.” (Original article is in Danish.)
